Arabela is an iPhone and iPod Touch variant of a popular logic tile-based puzzle game from the near past. It is reported to have more than 3,000,000 fans worldwide. The game is suitable for children and young players and yet challenging for adults. You play by tapping anywhere within an area of adjoining tiles from the same color which removes them from the board causing the remaining tiles to collapse into the empty space. Getting tired of Sudoku? Why not try Marple? Marple is a game of logic and deduction. The playing field consists of 20 tiles arranged in 4 rows of 5 columns each and a set of clues. The goal of the game is to figure out the correct order of those 20 tiles using the given clues by process of elimination. There are four different types of clues: "In between", "Left of", "Same column" and "Next to". "In between" clues tell that the middle tile has to be located in between the other two. It however does not tell the order of the other two clues or how far they are from the middle one. "Left of" clues tell that the left tile has to be located left of the right tile. It however does not tell how far apart they are. "Same column" clues tell that the two tiles have to be on the same column. "Next to" clues tell that the two tiles are next to each other. It however does not tell the order of the two tiles. There are 100,000 puzzles to play so don't expect to run out of them any time soon! Note: In the current version hi-score names won't get saved if you don't press the Return key in the keyboard. An updated version is already submitted for review that addresses this issue.
