Knocking 2.0 Goes Beyond Facetime with only Live Video Broadcast Between iPhone and Android Over 3G or Wi-Fi

App Eclipses 2.2 Million Users, Adding Approximately 75,000 users per week on iPhone and Android Devices

Danbury, CT (PRWEB) August 12, 2010 -- Knocking Live Video today launched version 2.0 of its industry leading video broadcasting app, a product update introducing sound and increasing video compression capabilities. The latest version of Knocking Live Video is optimized for iOS 4, includes sound and enables mobile users to share video more efficiently over strained 3G networks. As AT&T recently eliminated unlimited data plans and Verizon is calling a similar move "inevitable", Knocking remains the only video-streaming app capable of working over 3G.

What's New in 2.0

Audio - Knocking Live Video now supports audio streaming from the broadcaster's device.
IOS 4 Optimization - Knocking Live Video now supports the iPhone 4's front-facing camera with improved video quality.
Data Optimization - Knocking now compresses video up to 30%. Recent tests show this optimization allows the addition of sound without significantly impacting data plans.

Knocking Live Video is the only app that can stream video successfully over 3G networks from one phone to another. Today's product release enhances that capability significantly by increasing data compression by up to 30%. The enhancements launched today mean Knocking users will not see significant increases of data usage, a concern for many with the end of unlimited data plans.
